Easter Celebration

March 18, 2016
Easter egg hunts and egg rolling are two popular egg-related traditions. An egg hunt involves hiding eggs outside for children to run around and find on Easter morning. Eggs are rolled as a symbolic re-enactment of the rolling away of the stone from Christ’s tomb. In the United States, the Easter Egg Roll is an annual event that is held on the White House lawn each Monday after Easter.
Kingdom Academy held its own Easter Egg Hunt on Friday, March 18th. Students brought baskets from home and joyfully ran through our park collecting eggs with their friends. Our teachers also enjoyed their own Easter activity receiving lots of teacher goodies from our Easter piñatas! Ms. Adriana, our bible teacher, also blessed us with a beautiful lesson on Jesus' resurrection and a great time of worship. Thank you, God, for allowing us to celebrate Jesus at our school.
