Hispanic Celebration

October 13, 2017
October is National Hispanic Heritage Month. Kingdom Academy encourages students to engage in celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. On October 13th, all students came dressed in traditional clothing from their parent’s country of origin or from one of their choice. Everyone also enjoyed a Hispanic feast with dishes that moms and dads proudly made to intrigue the taste buds of our students.

As stated in one of Kingdom Academy's affirmations, "We embrace diversity and promote an appreciation for differences as global citizens graduating students who are conscious and have a strong compassionate character(Romans 10:13, Galatians 3:28, I Corinthians 12:12)."
